One good reason to be in Le Mans on Saturday 13th June

Have a meal on the Welcome terrace before going to the concertsThe Welcome, inaugurated last year, is a huge restaurant open to the public with an exceptional view on the track at the pit exit. Comfort and ambience guaranteed! Not far from there on the other side of the track are the concerts – and they’re free! Pep’s and Pascale Picard on Wednesday, and Twisted Wheel, The Stranglers, and R. Jam Music, on Saturday (21h00, at the Dunlop footbridge).
The word awesome is often overused in motorsport but in terms of Le Mans it is the word that will do! The 13.65km track consists of public road and purpose built sections. A real full throttle circuit this race is a true test of the endurance of both the cars and drivers. ......(and Twisted Wheel!!..)
Photobucket Yes, the lads hit Le Mans in a big way in the searing heat, that could only be described as a desert (thanks Rick!!) ...coming on stage at 9pm for over an hour!!.. The French audience were given an extra special treat, phew, what a set.
