First night of the Headline tour - Birmingham Academy 11/02/2010

Birmingham's brand spanking new Academy played host to Twisted Wheel's first night of their headline tour. Tickets had sold out a while ago, so the place was packed to the rafters. Even with big name bands playing in town, the good people of Birmingham knew where to come for the best music.

With a two month break since touring with Paul Weller (with the exception of the tour in Japan in January), the lads have been concentrating hard on new material and laying down tracks for a forthcoming release, so the first night back down to business was not to be missed.

Sure enough Twisted Wheel did not disappoint!! Starting off their set with 'She's A Weapon', which got the crowd moving from the start. 'Big Issue' and 'Racket' followed. New songs 'Killing Boy', 'The Third Page', and the awsome 'UK Blues' all went down a storm.
