Twisted Wheel @ Indiependence Nightclub, Wigan 05/03/2010

Another sell out date on the Twisted Wheel tour... with virtually the whole of Wigan turning out to watch the lads, special note here for future reference to anyone thinking they're just a beer swilling lads band - think again - well over half tonight's audience were female - you rock girls!!!

Twisted Wheel are :

Jonny Brown - Vocals & guitar

Eoghan Clifford - Drums

Twisted Wheel evolved from The Children (Jonny, Rick, Ben & Chris Carcamo & Ronnie ) Jonny and Rick knew drummer Adam Clarke from school, but it wasn’t until a meeting at Leeds Festival one year that the three became close friends.

Fast forward to Christmas time 2006 and the lads were putting the wheels in motion to do something serious. Come Jannuary and the band started jamming together, before playing their debut gig after just four rehearsals. Half a year later there was much label interest and a loads of bands wanting them as a support act.

In 2007 Twisted Wheel won ' Xfm's Uploaded Award' from Clint Boon on his music response show - a week earlier they'd signed their record deal with Columbia.

May 2010 - Adam leaves Twisted Wheel and is replaced by Eoghan Clifford of Mossley band The Fayre. August 2010 Rick left the band & replaced by Stephen Evans

'Shes A Weapon' 7" was released 21 April 2008,

'You stole The Sun' EP & CD (brilliant tune) was released 28 July 2008,

'Lucy The Castle' CD was realeased 27 October & 7" 10 November 2008.

'We Are Us' CD and 7" released March 2009

Their debut album Twisted Wheel' released on 13 April 2009
